I have worked at this terminal for almost 35-years. There have been a vast amount of industry changes, one of the biggest changes has been the focus on environmental training and procedures.
It is rewarding to oversee the receipt of the product coming in, then watching the trucks leave with the product to keep our neighbor’s homes warm. Knowing we did the job as safely and environmentally sound, and efficiently as possible.
Global and the industry as a whole strives to keep the employees and the environment safe. There is a huge effort to keep everyone, employees, neighbors, and the environment safe.
I am an avid outdoorsman, love to boat and fish in Casco Bay during the summer, I use the sled and ice fish during the winter. South Portland is a great place to work and play.
